ABSTRACT Gwen Cummings is a hotshot New York City newspaper columnist who works hard and lives harder, enjoying a debauched and alcohol-fueled existence with attractive boyfriend Jasper. Gwen's salad days come to a sorry end when she drunkenly commandeers a limousine during her sister's wedding, crashing the vehicle and earning a four-week stay at a rehab center; now, she must learn to adjust to the facility's strict rules as she discovers truths about her inner self through time spent with a quirky crew of addicts and her court-mandated counselor.
