ABSTRACT
The fictional small western American town of Preston, Idaho plays host to Napoleon Dynamite, a quirky comedy centering on the avant-garde existence of its titular star, an aimless teenager facing a host of bizarre day-to-day challenges ranging from home life with his grandma and porn-addicted brother to best friend Pedro's quixotic campaign for student body president at their high school against stereotypical "mean girl" Summer Wheatley.
