Excellent writing, realistic plot with a sense of the supernatural, written as a family film for any audience in the true CBC sense. Well photographed exceptional roles by the chidren, and with the exception of a slightly unresolved secondary plot ( the connection with the dead father ) well rounded to conclusion. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase a copy on DVD, so had to settle for a VHS "live" copy from TV. Recommended for family viewing without reservation.
