Young pianist Jeanne Pollet learns that there is a joke of a possibility that she is the daughter of celebrated concert pianist Andrι Polonski, after a brief hospital mix-up in the maternity ward decades ago. She visits the man at his home, striking up a friendship with Polonski and his chocolate-heiress wife and accepts an offer of piano tutorship. Though not unwelcomed, Jeanne's presence brings tension into the household. Light psychological thriller.
