ABSTRACT
Set on Wall Street at the start of the devastating 2007-08 financial crisis, Margin Call centers on investment bank employees Seth Bregman, Peter Sullivan, and Will Emerson as they become witnesses to a crisis at their firm concerning expensive sums of so-called "toxic assets" that grows and expands into a full-blown scandal enveloping every executive up to and including the firm's CEO over a 36-hour expanse of time.
