A homeless veteran takes a job as a low-rent bodyguard for three bullied middle schoolers.

ABSTRACT
Bob "Drillbit" Taylor is a transient war veteran, eager to make the most out of his life and move to Alaska someday despite less-than-ideal circumstances. Three hapless buddies tired of being bullied at their middle school desire the protection of a bodyguard; unable to put enough money together to hire anyone legitimate, they enlist the services of Drillbit, who proceeds to attempt to protect them while offering self-defense lessons despite a lack of relevant training and expertise.
