Poor attempt to parody multiple popular TV series and films, including Cast Away (2000), Miss Congeniality (2000), Planet of the Apes (1968), Jurassic Park (1993), the television series Lost, etc. The director of this film is the author of Filmmaking for Dummies, which may explain much.
