Among the devastation of post World War III Paris, a prisoner is experimentally sent back and forth in time in an attempt to find solutions to their present predicaments; an early memory of his haunts him. Influential short film lacking dialogue and almost entirely made from still photographs taken by a Pentax Spotmatic. This same basic story was retold as Twelve Monkeys (1995).
