Monte Carlo or Bust (28-May-1969)

REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 18-Sep-2006) A classical comedy movie which is filmed in some extremly difficult
settings and circumstances. An excellent cast of European and Bbritish
actors with a small American influence. The film has an all age appeal
and although made in 1969 still has sufficient appeal for viewers of
the small screen. Typical Terry Thomas and Eric Sykes performances with
impeccable timing were stranded throughout the film adding the British
brand of humour in good volume. Tony Curtis also provided a good
performance in his role alongside Susanne Hampshire, demonstrating his
ability in a comedy role. Although many of the driving scenes were
studio cuts of the star actors, the actual driving skills of the stand-ins/stuntmen were brilliant, particularly when you consider the cars
that were being used in the film. Well worth watching again.
