Spin-off of 1995's Whisper of the Heart follows a Japanese schoolgirl as she inadvertently crosses paths with an anthropomorphic cat hailing from a feline kingdom.

ABSTRACT
Haru, an unassuming schoolgirl with a secret ability to talk to cats, saves a peculiar cat from being hit by a truck one fateful day; the cat, identifying himself as Lune, Prince of the Cat Kingdom, asks to marry her, taking her polite refusal as an unequivocal "yes". Haru is soon introduced to the Cat Baron from Whisper of the Heart when she is taken to the Cat Kingdom, forced to find a way to inhibit her gradual transformation into a feline as Lune and his royal father appear intent on assimilating her into their ranks.
