ABSTRACT
Steve Butler, a grunt for fracking conglomerate Global Crosspower Solutions, is assigned to head out to a recession-decimated town in rural Pennsylvania to convince its residents to sign natural gas drilling rights over to his employer. Steve soon finds that his task will be a tall one, however, as the influence of an ex-engineer and local science teacher looks primed to compete with him for the town's hearts and minds.
