Yes Man (13-Dec-2008)

Director: Peyton Reed

Writers: Andrew Mogel; Jarrad Paul; Nicholas Stoller

Based on a book by: Danny Wallace

Keywords: Comedy

A man without a clear future in sight challenges himself to say "yes" to everything for one year.

ABSTRACT
Carl Allen, a lonely banker at a standstill in his life following a divorce with long-time wife Stephanie, enrolls in a self-help program (called "Yes Man") with one simple premise: say "yes" to every opportunity that presents itself in life, casting aside negativity and caution in favor of spontaneity and the thrill of exploring new horizons. Carl's life makes a 180ฐ turn following the seminar as he finds himself overcome with good karma and a new romantic opportunity in the form of the beautiful Allison; soon, however, he predictably learns that nothing -- even a can-do attitude -- is immune from negative consequences in this film that stands as equal parts comedy and cautionary tale.
