ABSTRACT
Thirteen-year old Jacob Wilson's obsessions with a host of bad influences in his young life come to a head when he begins to engage in troubling criminal behavior, forcing brother Wes into the custody of their aunt after he is drawn into Jacob's brand of mischief. Hellion centers on Hollis, single father to the boys grieving for his wife's passing, as he attempts to bottle up his numerous sorrows in a bid to become an active parent and positive influence in the lives of his offspring.
