Marley & Me (25-Dec-2008)
Director: David Frankel Writers: Scott Frank; Don Roos Based on a book by: John Grogan Keywords: Comedy, Dog A married couple's life is shaped by the presence of their beloved dog.
ABSTRACT John and Jennifer Grogan, newspaper columnists and newly-minted husband and wife, move to Florida and adopt a puppy as a means of preemptively inhibiting the doldrums accompanying their impending middle-aged years. The dog, named Marley, is an adorable ball of energy and infinite wonder with a naughty streak, displaying a penchant for tearing up just about anything around him with ease; as the years wear on, Marley matures into a hundred-pound dog, shaping the lives of his owners and that of their eventual children as he continues to test their patience with a complete lack of discipline.
