A millionaire tycoon's dying wish is to see his son's fianc�e; but as Gloria is out of town and cannot arrive that day, and his father's condition grave, Jonathan Reynolds, Jr. finds a stand-in to serve in her place. Jonathan, Sr. likes the girl very much, and it boosts his spirits enough that his life is no longer in danger. The real Gloria arrives and a delightful comedy of errors ensues. Received an Oscar nomination for Best Musical Score.
