ABSTRACT
Set just before the events of Shrek, Puss in Boots follows the titular character -- a talking, sword-fighting feline possessing a name derived from his wearing boots -- as he endeavors to restore his lost honor whilst on the run from the law as a fugitive. Puss in Boots' exploits, which find him crossing paths with other storybook characters like Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty before ultimately finding love, serve to tell a story of how the scrappy cat would eventually run into Shrek and friends. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
