REVIEWS Review by Brenda Reese (posted on 29-Mar-2008) A great movie that embraces the trials of growing up black in the 60's. I really like the bonding of friends, the romance, the families they came from and the different roads that each participant in life chose to travel. Was their final destination fate or was it about choice? Whatever, this is a must see movie and one to include in your nostalgia collection. Even if you didn't grow up in that era you'll enjoy the music and the overt message that the challenges of youth are still the same.
P.S. Where are those actors now?
