A go-go dancer stricken with multiple-personality disorder works to solve her problems with the help of a psychotherapist.
Frankie and Alice tells the tale of Frankie, a talented go-go dancer troubled by debilitating multiple-personality disorder -- manifesting itself as seven-year old child "Genius" and stereotypically Southern racist "Alice" -- and related inability to remain true to her actual self. Desiring a life of normalcy, Frankie begins seeing a psychotherapist, setting out on an emotionally heavy journey to investigate and mitigate reasons for the voices haunting her mind.
