ABSTRACT
A disease known as "hemophagia" ravages Earth in the late 21st century, turning a number of humans into vampire-like creatures with incredible physical abilities. A rift between "normal" humans and hemophages erupts, pushing the planet towards a civil war possibly resulting in the extermination of the "diseased" individuals; caught amidst the madness in a big way is Ultraviolet, a beautiful hemophage who strives to protect a young boy from becoming the next target of mortal humanity's extermination campaign.
