ABSTRACT
Ryu, deaf-mute worker at a South Korean electronics factory, is laid off from his job while attempting to gather funds for his beloved sister's needed kidney transplant. Black-market organ donors swindle poor Ryu out of his savings; at the urging of his unstable girlfriend, the desperate man kidnaps his ex-boss's daughter, kicking off a frightening series of events in his quest for revenge.
