The TV-drama of teen sexuality and love is a cautinary tale with an obvious result in the end. But, the telefilm is most notable for the two young stars that went on to much success in films - JENNIFER JASON LEIGH and HELEN HUNT. The presence of talent and the promise of future stardom for Miss Leigh is very apparent even at that initial stage in her career. She immersed herself in this role and produced an acting tour-de-force. "I Think I'm Having a Baby" is worth a view if only for the pleasure of witnessing the genesis of a genuinely talented performer.
