Two young men with dreams of starting their own recording studio participate in a lucrative dance competition.

ABSTRACT
David and Elgin, best friends and members of a top-flight Los Angeles street dance crew, harbor dreams of raising enough money to open a recording studio to call their own. Emboldened by money earned from delivering drugs for local crime boss Emerald and challenges from a variety of area crews, the pair ultimately elect to take part in a high-stakes citywide showdown in honor of a friend killed in a drive-by shooting with their dreams -- and, perhaps, future well-being -- on the line.
