Two troubled sisters suffering at the hands of their cruel stepmother are haunted by the specter of their dead mother.

ABSTRACT
Teenage sisters Su-mi and Su-yeon return from a spell at a mental institution to the "care" of withdrawn father Mu-hyun and wicked stepmother Yun-ju at their rural woodland estate. Yun-ju's psychotic behavior alternating between mania and sadism sets the tone for this disturbing thriller, as the effects of her abuse of her two stepchildren are worsened by the recurring presence of their dead mother's ghost.
