REVIEWS Review by Larry W. Yother (posted on 17-Jul-2007) You might or might not feel cheated if you paid whatever-bucks to see this in a megaplex, but on television it's just the ticket. It moves along nicely with only the occasional lag, the characters are appealing, the plot is semi-plausible by Woody Allen standards, and there are some good laughs.
This is a Woody Allen romantic comedy, which isn't quite a traditional romantic comedy, which means by definition it's light, airy, and has a happy ending. The ending is perfectly in keeping with the tone of the whole movie.
And Elaine May, one of my favorites from many years ago, is an absolute delight.
Pick it up from your local video place, if you haven't seen it, and enjoy.
