Second remake of Carrie (1976). Carrie White, a young woman living in a small town with her deeply religious mother, leads a sheltered life that finds her existing as a pariah at her high school. When the normally-shy Carrie is pushed to a breaking point at her senior prom, however, she unleashes a telekinetic rage on her peers that brings horrific consequences for those involved.
