ABSTRACT
In present-day Russia, two teenage brothers and their mother are met with the unexpected re-emergence of their father, absent without explanation for twelve years. The man, effectively an alien to his biological sons save for a single photograph of his pre-disappearance self, inexplicably invites them to join him on a fishing trip, leaving them mired in an unpredictable situation as they attempt to discern his motives -- perhaps criminal -- for soliciting their company.
