ABSTRACT
John Clasky's recent shot to stardom as the celebrated head chef at a top-flight Los Angeles restaurant brings various material benefits for wife Deborah, children Bernice and Georgie, and alcoholic stepmother Evelyn, a fabulous home paramount among them. An unhappy John finds his life turned upside down when bombshell Mexican immigrant Flor moves into their Malibu summer home as a housekeeper, bringing daughter Cristina along with her as she sparks a flame with the man of the household in spite of their language barrier.
