Flying Tigers (8-Oct-1942)
Director: David Miller Writers: Kenneth Gamet; Barry Trivers Music Score by: Victor Young Keywords: Action/Adventure, WWII Capt. Jim Gordon leads the American Volunteer Group, mercenaries better known as the Flying Tigers, defending China against the Japanese. Woody Jason, a new member of the group, is disruptive and certainly no team player; their relations become strained when one of the men, grounded because of a lack of optical depth perception, is killed in action, covering for Jason while he is out on a dinner date with Gordon's girl. Wartime propaganda film which was clearly made in a hurry.
