Remake of a Japanese horror movie of the same name follows an American nurse in Tokyo as she is placed at the mercy of a dastardly curse.

ABSTRACT
Remake of Takashi Shimizu's earlier film, The Grudge (2003). Karen Davis, an American nurse living and working in Japan with her boyfriend, takes a job as a caretaker for Emma, a mute woman plagued by a severe sleeping disorder. Arriving at the woman's house to begin her work, Karen takes notice of the presence of a terrifying curse inducing an uncontrollable rage in its victims, one she must ultimately work to contain before becoming its next victim.
