ABSTRACT Remake of Bedazzled (1967). Satan -- taking the form of a beautiful seductress played by Elizabeth Hurley -- runs a computer simulation to find the perfect Earth-dwelling mortal to exploit. Her calculations lead her to Elliot Richards, a nerdy, introverted techie working a dead-end job at a San Francisco computer company placed at the mercy of the Devil on account of his desire to ask attractive colleague Alison out and a lack of will to act on his impulses.
