Director: David Frankel Writer: Vanessa Taylor Music by: Theodore Shapiro Producers: Todd Black; Guymon Casady Keywords: Comedy, Drama An aging couple decide to attend a marriage counseling session to provide a much-needed spark for their time-worn relationship.
ABSTRACT Arnold and Kay Soames, a married couple of thirty years, have spent the empty-nester portion of their time together with a feeling of general romantic apathy. Eager to bring some long-dormant zest back into the picture, Kay decides to arrange for them to attend an intense marriage-counseling session under the purview of Dr. Bernie Feld in a quaint Maine resort community, an endeavor that finds them re-examining their relationship right down to the root and ultimately deciding to become more accepting of one another.
