A couple resort to desperate measures to move an undesirable tenant out of the New York City duplex of their dreams.

ABSTRACT
Young couple Alex Rose and Nancy Kendricks move into what seems to be the home of their dreams, a brownstone duplex in Brooklyn boasting a homey charm and multiple fireplaces. There's just one problem standing in the way of total enjoyment of their new digs; namely, upstairs neighbor Mrs. Connelly, a cranky yet energetic old woman who enjoys a number of noisy hobbies and pursuits. Nancy's loss of employment worsens a trying situation as the couple, forced to spend even more time subjected to Mrs. Connelly's annoying behavior, plot ludicrous schemes to rid themselves of her presence.
