ABSTRACT
Adapted from a true story, Savannah centers on Ward Allen, a Southern-bred "man's man" who leaves behind a privileged life afforded by his plantation-owning heritage to enjoy a carefree existence living off the land and hunting ducks. Embarking on adventures with freed slave Christmas Moultrie at his side, Ward must ultimately decide whether or not to continue on with his country lifestyle when he falls for "society woman" Lucy Stubbs one day.
