School of Jewish learning and civilization. Founded 1907 from a bequest by Moses Aaron Dropsie. Subsumed into the Annenberg Research Institute in 1986, and finally emerged as the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Advanced Judaic Studies in 1993. It houses an important library of Judaica.
