College preparatory school, founded 1893 as Mechanic Arts High School. In 1944 it was renamed Boston Technical High School. In 1989, it was combined with Mario Umana Technical High School, but retained its name. In 1992, the combined institutation was renamed the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics & Science.
