Arthur Andersen

COMPANY

Former "Big Five" Accounting corporation, founded 1913 by Arthur Andersen and Clarence DeLany. It was essentially destroyed in 2002 in the aftermath of the Enron debacle. The company still exists as a shell. In 2002 the company was convicted of obstruction of justice, but that verdict was overturned by the US Supreme Court in 2005 due to faulty jury instructions.
