COMPANY

Founded 1866 as George Q. Cannon & Sons. He sold the concern in 1900 to the LDS Church, which continues to operate the business through the Deseret Management Corporation. The present structure was formed 1919 by the merger of the Deseret News Bookstore and the Deseret Sunday School Union Bookstore.
