Phosphate, potash crop nutrients, nitrogen fertilizers, etc. It is the largest manufacture of phosphates in the United States. Mosaic was formed 2004 by the merger of one of Cargill's divisions, Cargill Crop Nutrition, and IMC Global. The resultant company is 2/3 owned by Cargill.
Another "The Mosaic Company", a software company once called "MosaicMedia" and based in Renton, WA, is no relation.
