Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), founded 1997 with the merger of Cali Associates with Mack Company and Patriot American Office Group. It owns or controls over 28M square feet of building space. Cali Associates was founded 1949 by brothers John J. Cali and Angelo R. Cali, housing developers. The Mack Company was founded 1962. Patriot American Office Group was a firm controlled by the Mack family as well. Mack-Cali acquired Pacifica Holding Company in 1998.
