It acquired NetGravity in 1999. Also in 1999, DoubleClick merged with Abacus Direct in a $1.7B deal. This combined company was purchased in 2005 by Hellman & Friedman, which sold off Abacus the following year. DoubleClick was acquired by Google in 2008 for $3.1B cash.
