COMPANY

Subsidiary of American International Group, merged in 1989 with Jurgovan & Blair (founded 1976, and acquired by AIG), with J&B adopting the name American International Healthcare, Inc. after the merger. In 1994 it was sold and became AIH Systems, Inc., changed name to Advanta Systems in 1995 and again to AMISYS Managed Care Systems also in 1995. In 2003 AIMSYS merged with Synertech, becoming Amisys Synertech Inc., which was acquired by DST Systems in 2006.
