Umiliani scored around 200 films, the first of which -- I soliti ignoti (Big Deal on Madonna Street, 1958) -- was the first Italian film to use a jazz soundtrack, and featured trumpeter Chet Baker. He is best remembered for the lounge tune "Mah Na Mah Na". Written in 1968 for the porn film Svezia, Inferno e Paradiso, the song later cropped up on the Benny Hill show in the 70s. Jim Henson's muppets had a hit covering it in 1977.
