Spears has said she popped the question during a flight back to America from her recent European tour. Federline said no, because being a traditional sort, he thought the man should propose. He proposed just a few minutes later. They picked out an engagement ring together, and got matching tattoos -- a pair of pink dice on Spears' left wrist, blue dice on Federline's right forearm. The two married on 18 September 2004, separated two years later, and were divorced in 2007.
