ORGANIZATION

Holocaust denial organization, founded 1979 by Willis Carto. In 1985 the IHR parent organization, the Legion for the Survival of Freedom, received a bequst of $7.5M from Jean Farrell, grand-niece of Thomas Edison. San Diego Superior Court Judge Ruston G. Maino found that Carto diverted much of this money to his Liberty Lobby. Following two decisions by the Federal Bankruptcy Court in 2001, the IHR is no longer connected to Carto.
