REVIEWS

Review by Figueroa (posted on 5-May-2008)

Best picture, sound track and storyline I have every watched in 1976 when I was a teenager. In fact, I feel that this movie is timeless! The only thing is that I wished the original soundtrack from the movie would have been released instead of having Aretha Franklin sing it. Don't get me wrong, the queen of soul is nice, but it would have been better since Lonette McKee and Irene Cara had such beautiful voices and I would have loved to have heard them instead of Franklin sing it since the movie was first rate!
