ABSTRACT
Fresh off of his acclaimed turn as Jackie Robinson in 42, Chadwick Boseman returns to the silver screen with another biographical feature in Get on Up, starring as legendary soul singer James Brown. Viewers are treated to a dramatized account of Brown's life and career, following his rise from extreme poverty in his youth to stardom and, finally, "Godfather of Soul" with an enduring legacy.
