A terminally ill young woman transcends the traditionally-defined boundaries of human intelligence to exact revenge against her adversaries.

ABSTRACT
Troubled young woman Lucy is roped into a scheme that sees her delivering a briefcase containing a potent experimental drug to an Asian gangster, who then inserts a bag containing the drug into her stomach before forcing her to work as his effective slave. The bag, of course, explodes in Lucy's body, transforming her into an intellectually superior femme fatale who uses her now hyper-evolved brain to overpower her captors and pass her intellect on to the rest of humanity, even though she is now terminally ill.
