A grizzled ex-hitman returns to his old line of work to avenge the mob-connected murder of his dog.

ABSTRACT
John Wick, a fearsome ex-hitman looking to abandon his high-stakes job following his wife's untimely death, is visited by gangsters intending to steal his beloved Ford Mustang; his dog, a beagle given to him by his wife just before her death, is killed as a consequence of the attempted robbery. Angered, John exits retirement to take care of unfinished business, resuming his trigger-happy ways as he seeks to avenge his dog's death and late wife's honor.
