A successful Massachusetts businessman's life is thrown for a zany curve when his derelict estranged father resurfaces just before his planned wedding.

ABSTRACT
Marry McGarricle, a teacher jailed for having a sexual relationship with 14-year old Donny Berger in 1984, gives birth to their child whilst serving her prison sentence. Raised as "Han Solo Berger" by the half-baked Donny until his eighteenth birthday, the embarrassed boy eventually loses contact with his father and changes his name to "Todd Peterson", whereupon he develops into a successful businessman with intentions to marry his fiancee in modern-day Cape Cod. All does not go as planned for Todd, however, when Donny resurfaces and attempts to re-enter his estranged son's life, seeking quick cash to ward off the IRS's threats of imprisonment for nearly $50,000 in unpaid back taxes.
