A group of Roman soldiers seek to defy all odds and save their lives behind enemy lines after their legion suffers a critical blow.

ABSTRACT
Loosely based off of the real-life massacre of the Ninth Legion in Caledonia, Centurion follows soldier Quintus Dias as he heads out with General Virilus's Ninth Legion on a mission to exterminate the enemy Picts and their leader. When they are betrayed by a scout hired to assist them against the Pictish threat and find their forces decimated, however, Dias must embark on an excursion with several of his fellow surviving soldiers that finds them operating behind enemy lines and attempting an odds-defying last stand.
